I have caught myself backdating posts the last couple of days since I had/have a hard time keeping up with posting let alone commenting on other blogs. So please don’t think I am ignoring your posts – I have been skimming but was a little short on time commenting. I am trying to catch up – promise!
One annoying thing was that our internet at home was out over the weekend. I don’t know if I should call it luck that it was an more centralist issue that not only affected us? At least we did not have to wait for AT&T to show up at our house but “just” needed to wait for them to fix the bigger issue at hand. We don’t have AT&T service but our provider still uses their lines in our neighborhood. It really makes you realize for how many things you rely on the internet working these days. Not to mention that typing on the phone is not the best.
Part of me was asking myself “What were you thinking when you signed up for NaBloPoMo?” We have BIL and SIL visiting this week and besides the birthday celebrations last weekend I spend a decent amount of cleaning. With all the back problems the house cleaning fell a little short. But hey, I was still able to walk the next day so I guess overall it is getting better. The added fitness classes, chiropractor and PT visits don’t help with my time management but I feel like it’s starting to pay off what is all that counts right now.
So anyway, I guess this is a sort of apology post and I hope you stick around even if I don’t manage to catch up on all the posts you have written!
How is NaBloPoMo going for you this year?
No need to apologies as far as I am concerned. Life takes precedence and always love to throw a curve ball just when you least expect it. And NaBloPoMo like any of these challenges are meant to be fun, not stressful. If you miss a day, no one will burn the house down.

I hope no one is burning houses down over me and it is fun! I love the interactions with everyone! I am glad I signed up, just wish I could make more time for it.

I try to write my posts in an evening and schedule them, it’s working so far. Especially as I need to write weekend posts in advance too as there is always too much going on to write on the day.

I know, right? It just always feels awkward to me since in my head the timing is always off.

I’d love to know what everyone else does. Do they have a schedule, do they just write when they have time. I guess we all have to work out what works for us.

Yes, we do. I wish someone could figure it out for me especially since others do infringe on my pre-planned schedule all the time 😉

Taking care of oneself really is a time invest.
Glad you feel (slightly) better.

Well, no need to apologize… I am also behind and trying to catch up with reading/commenting and I haven’t had to backdate, but I’ve been squeezing in my blog posts right before the midnight deadline more often than I like to admit LOL

Yesterday was the day I was finally so tired I went to bed at 10 pm and I almost never do that. That alone says something.

I cheated by writing all of my posts ahead of time, and scheduling them. So that’s easy, but on the other hand I’ve been having a lot of trouble keeping up on commenting and reading. This is a busy time of work for me, so it’s really hard and I have to just do my best. So far no one has come to burn my house down either. 😉

Glad to hear your house is still standing, too. And I am getting so many great book club ideas by reading your posts
