Today was my travel day again with a pretty short connection in Munich so not much time to write. I spend the flight making progress on my latest knitting project (a scarf for my dad since he put the last one in the washing machine) while watching movies, reading and sleeping. I was very lucky today and had the whole three seats to myself. It made the whole flight so much more relaxing.

I took some pictures flying into SFO and hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed the view.

A whole row of seats to yourself… knitting, sleeping and watching movies… sounds like the perfect travel day to me π And you got some great, clear shots of SF π

Right? I actually felt quite relaxed and even had the feeling I accomplished something while in the air.

Three seats to yourself is certainly a good way to fly. I had an empty seat next to me on my last flight and it makes it a little more comfortable. I love your photos of San Francisco. The bottom one especially, look at that grid of streets.

The three seats seem to get everyone – it was the best flight I ever had just because of this.

I do like the photos. I’ve never been to California, and I love the view of the bridge from the airplane. Hooray for making good use of your time on the flight. I laughed at your dad putting the other one in the dryer. Oops.

It’s not like I never put a knitted hat in the dryer by accident π

A whole row is amazing on such a long flight. And the reading, knitting and watching tv. Sounds rather relaxing.
The photos of SF are so beautiful. Isn’t it a rare view to have without fog?

It was relaxing indeed. And yes, a lot of times it’s foggy but November is a good month without usually.
